In Cold Blood Reading
In Cold Blood is a book about a homicide case in holcomb Kansas. The author Capote first starts off by telling the day of the crime into detail and then goes on telling the story of the two murders Perry Smith and Dick Hickock before and after the murder. The four victims know as the Clutter family were murdered in there home on November 15th, 1959. They were tied up, took shots to the head, and one victim's throat was slit. The killers Perry Smith and Dick Hickock moved down to mexico to find some work. They winded up dry so they came back to america and were arrested. Capote ties in there backstory slowly and try's to get the reader to feel sorry for Perry. Perry had a rough childhood and blamed all the pain caused to him was the reason why he murdered the clutters.
